Gravity Media, a world leading global provider of complex live creative production and media services, today outlined the broadcast technology and television production undertaking that will see Gravity Media Australia create and deliver coverage of this year’s Adelaide Equestrian Festival across Australia and multiple international territories.
The Adelaide Equestrian Festival is an annual equestrian event, as 70 equestrian athletes and their horses from around the country this year compete to secure a place in the Australian team for the upcoming Olympic Games in Paris.
The Adelaide Equestrian Event – across this weekend – takes in the heart of the Adelaide CBD, Victoria Park/Pakapakanthi and its surrounding parklands with the four-day festival showcasing the disciplines of Dressage, Cross Country and Show Jumping.
Gravity Media Australia has been appointed by Adelaide Horse Trials Management Inc to deliver the major technology, logistics and production undertaking for the event.
Gravity Media Australia will deploy state-of-the-art high definition outside broadcast trucks, coupled with specialist broadcast technology and communications services developed by Gravity Media.
Coverage of the Adelaide Equestrian Festival will be broadcast nationally on Channel Nine as a one-hour highlights package post event, as well as livestreamed globally on Horse & Country TV, the leading equestrian sports & lifestyle network.
Adelaide Equestrian Festival Competition Director, Belinda Lindh said the AEF is excited to be working with Gravity Media Australia to deliver exceptional coverage of Australia’s premier equestrian event to the world.
“The size of the venue on Cross Country Day poses some significant technical challenges and with Gravity Media’s broadcast expertise and technology we are able to deliver fabulous pictures of Adelaide’s beautiful parklands and the Olympic sport of eventing which will be livestreamed across the globe during the competition.”
Nigel Naseby, Business Development Manager, Gravity Media Australia said:
