Riedel presented their Emmy-award-winning Bolero wireless intercom series, which comes in three network modes depending on the application in which it is going to be used: Bolero Integrated empowers the artist infrastructure, including SmartPanels and extensive I/O connectivity; Bolero Standalone Link provides plug-and-play simplicity that is especially suited to smaller installations; and Bolero Standalone 2110 (AES67) enables users to set up a standards-based (SMPTE 2210/AES67) IP network with no artist required.
Bolero systems have been applied in many world-top productions, among others at Shakespeare’s Globe in London, the Bavarian State Opera, or the German Bundesliga.
Apart from that, Riedel showcased their SmartPanels and Simplylive Production Suite, a software-based platform enabling live switching of cameras and video sources, cueing and scrubbing slowmo replays, controlling audio, or adding graphics using the touchscreen.
